Are you hosting a holiday gathering this year? We love finding excuses to host intimate parties all year long, but setting the table for a formal party really makes it so special.

Here are a few tips to help you host an unforgettable dinner party this year:

  • A muted palette is best for letting the food be the real feature. Use soft tones and accent them with metallic flatware while bringing in textures with your linens and napkins.
  • Illuminate your night. Tall tapers are a great way to elevate your style without taking up too much space on the table while adding warmth.
  • Keep your florals simple, while playing on the color story in similar hues. Deepen the color in the florals to add depth and bring in more textures to your tablescape.
  • It’s all about the details. Once the table is set, take the time to add a few personal details to make it special. A simple menu is a great way to let your guests know what to expect during the evening and personal place cards are always appreciated.

Whether you are hosting a cocktail party for a few of your closest friends or looking for ways to make your family dinner special, I’d like to wish you all the best as you celebrate this wonderful time of year with those you love.
